What are pheromones?

Pheromones are chemical compounds that are produced and emitted by the cat, naturally. These substances are immediately recognised by animals of the same species. There are different pheromones. Each triggers its own instinctive response. Pheromones are sensed by the Jacobson's Organ located above the palate close to your cat's nose.
